FULLTIME EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN-PARAMEDIC

The Town of Barre is accepting applications for a fulltime EMT-Paramedic position. Applications are available at the EMS station at 4 McLaughlin Road, at the Town Manager’s Office, by calling 802-479-9331, or from the town website (www.barretown.org/pages/gen/employment.html). Complete applications must be returned to the Town Manager’s Office, Municipal Building, P.O. Box 116, Websterville, VT 05678 by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 3. All candidates must possess a current valid driver’s license, be able to pass a pre-employment medical exam, have a minimum of five years experience in EMS, and hold current EMT-Paramedic certification with 2 or more years experience in paramedicine. EMTs are required to work nights and weekends. Competitive wages and benefits (insurances, time off, retirement pension) are provided.
