Directions to Municipal
Building, Public Works Facility, and Recreation Athletic Complex
FROM ST. JOHNSBURY: Use Route 2 to
East Montpelier. Turn left onto Route 14 southbound. Follow
Route 14 to Barre City. At the first traffic signal turn left.
You will be driving on Route 14 south and Route 302 east. Approximately
˝ mile from that intersection, Routes 14 and 302 split. Bear
right, following Route 14 south. The Day’s Inn is on the right
about ˝ mile down Route 14. Just past Day’s Inn (300 ft.), turn
left onto Quarry Street. Follow Quarry Street (Quarry Hill Road
in Barre Town) for 1 mile. Turn left onto Websterville Road;
the cemetery is on the left and abuts both Quarry Hill Road and
Websterville Road. To reach the DPW offices and vehicle maintenance shop turn left into the Wilson Industrial Park. Follow Pitman Road to the facility. The Town Recreation and Athletic Complex is
on the right between St. Sylvester Cemetery and the Barre Town
School. The Public Works Garage (#129) is on the left at the
railroad tracks. The Town Municipal Building (#149) is on the
left after the railroad tracks -- about 3/4 mile from the intersection.
FROM I-89: Get off at Exit 6 (Barre/South
Barre). Getting off the interstate ramp, you can go only in one
direction on the access road (Route 63). Stay on access road
for about 3 miles to traffic signal at bottom of hill and intersection
with Route 14. Go straight through intersection onto Barre Town’s
Middle Road. Go about 1˝ miles up Middle Road. Just past the
Lazy Lion Campground, at the top of the hill, turn left onto Graniteville
Road. (Rock of Ages is at the intersection.) Travel about 1
mile on Graniteville Road to first intersection and turn right
onto Websterville Road (Wilson Cemetery is at the intersection).
To reach the DPW offices and vehicle maintenance shop turn left into the Wilson Industrial Park. Follow Pitman Road to the facility. The Town Recreation and Athletic Complex is on the right between
St. Sylvester Cemetery and the Barre Town School. The Public Works
Garage (#129) is on the left at the railroad tracks. The Town
Municipal Building (#149) is on the left after the railroad tracks
-- about 3/4 mile from the intersection.
FROM CONNECTICUT RIVER VALLEY: Use Route
25 west (north) from Bradford. At the intersection of Routes
25 and 302 turn left onto 302 west. Follow 302 about 10 miles
to the village of East Barre and intersection with Route 110.
At this intersection turn left onto Route 110. About 75 yards
from the intersection, Route 110 bears left but you go straight.
(You will drive by the East Barre Fire Station, Ad Art America,
East Barre Market, and East Barre Antique Mall.) About 200 yards
after leaving Route 110 there is a stop sign. Turn right onto
Websterville Road. About 1 mile up the road, the Websterville
Road intersects with another road; there is a yield sign -- turn
to the right. The Municipal Building (#149) is on the right after
a large curve approximately ˝ mile down the Websterville Road.
The Public Works Garage (#129) is just below the Municipal Building
by the railroad tracks. The Recreation and Athletic Complex is
on the left just past the Barre Town School. To reach the DPW office and vehicle maintenance shop turn right into the Wilson Industrial Park. Follow Pitman Road to the DPW facility.
