Barre Town Emergency Management

The Town of Barre has a Civil Defense Emergency Management Ordinance which can be found in the Town of Barre Charter. The Emergency Management Chairman is currently Jack Mitchell (802-476-7073).

The Town Emergency Management office is looking for a volunteer Shelter Management Officer which requires some training with the American Red Cross. We are also looking for a Deputy Chairman. If you would like to become a citizen volunteer for the state of Vermont or the Town of Barre contact the state at Rms.vermont.gov or dial 211.
